Negotiating the health care system can be tough. And stressful. Not to mention expensive.
Fortunately, there are sources of funding that can help to at least ease the cost of accessing services.
But negotiating your way through these can be difficult too – we know as we have been through it ourselves. And so we want to help you to access what funding you are entitled to, using the knowledge and skills we have developed over time in sourcing funding for our own children.
If you would like to discuss whether your child can access any of the following funding sources for attending Foundations for Growth then we would be more than happy to discuss it with you and point you in the right direction.
Potential Funding Sources:
GP Management Plan along with a Chronic Disease Management Plan (5 sessions per year, plan assessed each year by GP).
Better Start (20 sessions per child – not per year). Has to be initiated before the child is 13 and used before they are 15. The plan is assessed by the GP.
National Disability Insurance Scheme. A new funding source that provides individualised support for people with disabilities. We are an approved NDIS provider.
