Foundations for Growth can provide therapy sessions at schools who have children that can benefit from improved gross motor and interpersonal/social skills.
If your school has students who currently access or need to access therapy for movement and/or social skills then we can visit your school to run the sessions. We work with teachers and parents to aim for a seamless integration of our therapy with the student's education and other therapies they may be accessing. We are also happy for staff to attend in order to obtain ideas that they can use during the week for consistency for the students (besides...a lot of the activities we do are beneficial for all students).
What are the costs?
The costs of the therapy sessions can be met by a number of ways, including through NDIS funding, GP Management Plan, Better Start Program, and Private Health Cover.
As with our community-based sessions, funding options can be discussed with all parents in order to help each child access the therapy needed for their developmental needs.
We need a minimum of five students per school in order for us to provide a school-based service.
If you would like to explore the possibility of us providing therapy via dance at your school, please contact us on 0438 801 265 to discuss or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
